Japanese Culture


Japan's Culture is diverse, however, we can mention two very important aspects, such as: The ancient traditions and healthy cuisine .The Japan is a country to be visited by all, as well as having a wonderful culture, it has incredible places to walk.

Japanese cuisine is consumed in many countries, including Brazil. It features various dishes and a very healthy diet.

 The best-known Japanese traditional dances are: kabuki buyo, Kamigata-May, ryukyu buyo, shishi-May and Sarugaku. It is based on basic movements, associated with daily behavior. Many situations and emotions can be expressed by body movement.

Speaking of cultural performances, in Japan they are very encouraged with young people. Among the most popular festivals, especially the O-shogatsu (New Year), where families gather in the grandparents' house and eat pasta, one representative for long life. Shortly after midnight, it is common to find Japanese heading to temples and shrines in order to ask for good luck for the year ahead.

- Popular Religions are Shintoism and Buddhism;
- The Japanese exchange gifts among friends, in the middle and at the end of each year;
- Yes, take off your shoes when entering a home is a true custom;

- A few days before spring, the Japanese throw beans at the windows to attract good energy.
